This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Cabme Driver (Android application ID com.cabmeu.driver; iOS app name Cabme Driver).

On Google Play this app is listed under the developer name Cab Me Developers. That developer account is operated by RAZATEC BV (VAT BE0772993592), trading as CabMe. RAZATEC BV is the data controller for personal data processed through Cabme Driver.

2. What Cabme Driver is for

Cabme Driver is for licensed taxi and private-hire drivers who partner with CabMe to accept ride requests, navigate to passengers, complete trips, and manage earnings. It is not the public CabMe rider (passenger) app.

3. Location data (including background)

To operate the service we collect precise location, including when you are online and available for trips and while a trip is in progress. On Android we may request location access all the time (background) so the platform can match you with nearby requests and support safety features when the app is not in the foreground.

We use location to:

• Show your position on the map and assign nearby ride requests
• Navigate to pickup and drop-off points
• Track active trips for safety, support, and billing
• Keep your online/availability status accurate for dispatch

You can use the app without granting location, but you will not receive ride requests.

4. Other personal data we collect

• Account & profile — name, phone, email, photo, vehicle and licence documents
• Trip data — routes, fares, payment status, ratings
• Device & technical — device model, OS, app version, IP, crash logs, push tokens
• Communications — support messages and in-app notifications

5. How we use and share data

We use data to provide the driver platform, process payments, prevent fraud, comply with transport regulations, and improve the service. We share data with passengers (as needed for active trips), payment processors, cloud hosting providers, and authorities when required by law.

6. Retention & your rights

We retain data as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and safety obligations. Under GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction by contacting sales@cabme.eu.
